When searching for Big Creek Missions on Google Maps or Apple Maps, search for "Big Creek Missions Bear Branch KY" instead of our physical address. Typically, both will navigate you to our location. HOWEVER, we do recommend following these directions - as sometimes, Google and Apple don't know the difference between a good road and a bad road!

From Knoxville to Big Creek Main Campus:
Take I-75 N to KY Exit 38
Turn RIGHT onto KY 192 (follow signs to Manchester / Hal Rogers Pkwy)
Travel approximately four miles until road dead ends onto Hal Rogers Parkway.
Turn RIGHT on Hal Rogers parkway, and travel 30 miles to the exit near mile marker 34.
Turn LEFT at exit 34.
Follow this short road for approximately 1/10th mile
Turn RIGHT onto KY-66 and travel 1/2 mile
Turn LEFT onto 421 and travel 4 miles.
Turn LEFT onto KY-1482 and travel 500 feet.
The driveway for Big Creek Missions is the first drive on your right.

From Lexington to Big Creek Main Campus:
Take I-75 S to KY Exit 41
TUrn LEFT onto Hwy 80 / Hal Rogers Parkway. Stay on Hal Rogers for apprx 34 miles
Turn LEFT at the exit located at mile marker 34.
Follow this short road for approximately 1/10th mile
Turn RIGHT onto KY-66 and travel 1/2 mile
Turn LEFT onto 421 and travel 4 miles.
Turn LEFT onto KY-1482 and travel 500 feet.

From Hazard KY to Big Creek Main Campus:
Follow signs to the Hal Rogers Parkway – NOT a toll road
Go West on the Hal Rogers Parkway to mile marker 34
Turn RIGHT onto the exit at mile marker 34 and travel approximately 1/10th mile
Turn RIGHT onto KY-66 and travel approximately 1/2 mile
Turn LEFT onto KY 421 and travel 4 miles
Turn LEFT onto 1482 and travel 500 feet.

From Nashville TN or Bowling Green, KY to Big Creek Main Campus:
Take I-65 North to the Cumberland Parkway (exit 43?)
Take the Cumberland Parkway towards Somerset / London/
When nearing Somerset, follow signs to 80E towards London.
Continue driving THROUGH Somerset and London, a total of approximately 155 miles.
Continue to follow signs to Hal Rogers Parkway. (Hal Rogers Parkway is NOT a toll road)
Turn LEFT at exit 34 (approximately 34 miles past the I-75 interchange)
Follow this short road for approximately 1/10th mile
Turn RIGHT onto KY-66 and travel 1/2 mile
Turn LEFT onto 421 and travel 4 miles.
Turn LEFT onto KY-1482 and travel 500 feet.

From Virginia or I-81 to Big Creek Main Campus:
There are several routes to travel from Virginia / I-81. We recommend, from Abingdon, setting your GPS on Hazard KY THEN when you’re close to Hazard, set your GPS towards Bear Branch KY. We recommend using Highway 23 / Highway 15 / Hal Rogers, and DO NOT Recommend using Highway 421.
Because I’ve not driven this route often, please research and make sure these directions are correct.
THIS ROUTE is the one we recommend.
BASIC directions from I-81(summarized from above, but not specific!)
Take I-81 South.towards Exit 17
Follow 58 Alt W / 19 towards Highway 23 in Norton KY
Take 23N for 19 miles
Turn onto 119s for 11 miles
Turn onto 15n towards Hazard. Turn onto the 15n Bypass after the Hal Rogers Center
Follow signs to the Hal Rogers Parkway – NOT a toll road
Go West on the Hal Rogers Parkway to mile marker 34
*Turn RIGHT onto the exit at mile marker 34 and travel approximately 1/10th mile
*Turn RIGHT onto KY-66 and travel approximately 1/2 mile
*Turn LEFT onto KY 421 and travel 4 miles
*Turn LEFT onto 1482 and travel 500 feet.
